Education was a very important part of life in Zion. Dr. Dowie started a college in Chicago on Michigan avenue and later moved it to Zion City Illinois. A few articles are included here that came from the local paper, The Zion Banner. Descriptions of the various school buildings were included. These articles from the Zion Banner describe the Junior School buildings as well as their location.
