This page is dedicated to a number of Dr. Dowie's core teachings. Some were sermons and others were just a few sentences within a sermon.
Below are three basic prayers that Dr. Dowie used in his services:
INVOCATION.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, be profitable unto this people, and unto all to whom these words shall come, in this and every land, in this and all the coming time, Till Jesus Come. Amen.
PRAYER OF CONSECRATION.
My God and Father, in Jesus’ Name I come to Thee.
Take me as I am. Make me what I ought to be, in spirit, in soul, in body. Give me power to do right, no matter what it costs. Give me Thy Holy Spirit, that I may trust Thee, and serve Thee, and help poor, fallen humanity; and in every way that I can, help me to extend this work in Zion, for Jesus’ sake.
BENEDICTION
Beloved, abstain from all appearance of evil. And may the very God of Peace Himself sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame, unto the coming of our Lord Jesus, the Christ. Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it. The grace of our Lord Jesus, the Christ, the love of God, our Father, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, our Comforter and Guide, one Eternal God, abide in you, Bless you and keep you, and all the Israel of God everywhere, forever. Amen.

The Aims and Methods of Zion.
A letter written by Dr. Dowie to Associated News published in Leaves of Healing vol 8 no 3 November 10, 1900. This gives Dr. Dowie's core beliefs regarding Zion and the Kingdom of God as well as Theocracy.

Polygamy
When Dr. Dowie was deposed by Overseer Wilbur Glenn Voliva, one of the accusations was that Dr. Dowie was teaching polygamy. While Dr. Dowie never had his "day in court", here is an extract from a sermon delivered in May 1905 with some of his teaching on polygamy.
Divine Healing
Below are a list of sermons given by Dr. Dowie concerning Divine Healing. All sermons are from Leaves of Healing except the last five the "V. from Z." which is A Voice From Zion. This was a small book of sermons. There were twelve chapters in each book, one for each month of the year. There were eight volumnes written.

Flat earth - Astronomy
While Zion is noted for teaching the earth was flat in its parochial schools, this was not a belief of Dr. Dowie. It came iin during the administration of Wilbur Glenn Voliva.
